Wuhan Tianhe Airport
At Wuhan Tianhe Airport’s new terminal, aluminum panels are central to both its iconic exterior silhouette and functional interior ceiling design—tailored to the large-scale, high-traffic demands of an aviation hub.
For the exterior, the panels are formed into sweeping, curved cladding that shapes the terminal’s "wing-like" roof structure. Their lightweight yet high-strength properties support the vast, cantilevered overhangs, while the matte finish minimizes glare for aircraft operations—critical for airport safety.
Inside the departure hall, aluminum panels compose the undulating, perforated ceiling: precision-drilled circular holes house embedded lighting, creating a diffused, glare-free illumination that suits the terminal’s high foot traffic. The panels’ linear, ribbed texture also enhances acoustic dampening, reducing noise in the bustling space.
Nanbowan delivers specialized aluminum panel systems engineered for the demands of major transportation hubs. Our expertise lies in providing airport-grade solutions that align with critical infrastructure requirements—combining robust structural capacity, full compliance with aviation safety standards, and optimized performance in high-traffic acoustic and lighting environments. These systems are designed to meet the scale, safety, and operational excellence expected in world-class airport and transit facilities.
